My strengths include a warm and relational manner and a compassionate nature combined with experience and a strong intuitive sense. Most important is that I listen and hear others with my mind and my heart. I can help people with relationship issues, including individual, couples, families and people struggling with work related relationship problems. I provide support at all life-stages. I am eclectic in my methodologies taking into account the particular psycho-dynamics of the individual.
In addition I work with anxiety and depression utilizing the methods I studied at the Harvard Mind and Body Institute. This method combines Cognitive Behavioral therapy with relaxation methods and mindfulness. I help individuals connect to their true selves, so that real enduring confidence emerges. When you are in touch with yourself your life is guided by your inner voice, which will lead you on your true path going forward.
I am a certified Imago Therapist utilizing specific techniques for couples work. I am a member of the American Association of Marriage and Family therapist, studied at the Ackerman Institute for work with families and use Jungian dream work in my practice to uncover the unconscious.
I am a graduate of New York University, where I received my Masters degree and Smith College, where I received my Ph.D.
